Hello, I’m Derek, a freelance model. At 25, I had the incredible opportunity to do a test shoot, and it was a transformative experience. The moment I stepped in front of the camera, I felt an overwhelming sense of joy. This joy was intertwined with the comfort I discovered in that setting, igniting my passion for modeling. Since then, I’ve embraced the industry and all it has to offer.

As a freelance model, I take charge of securing my own work and building my client base. While this journey has its challenges, it has also provided me with invaluable insights into the industry. This experience not only deepens my understanding of how it operates but also empowers me to take greater control of my career in the future.

As I’m new to modeling, my experience with various brands is still limited. However, over the past 25 years, I’ve worn a wide array of styles and discovered that my versatility allows me to adapt to many different looks. This diversity enhances my ability to represent a range of brands effectively

Although I’m new to modeling, I bring a wealth of experience as a professional ice hockey player and former Division 1 athlete. My athletic career has equipped me with the ability to perform in the public eye and feel comfortable in front of the camera. While I’ve enjoyed significant success in sports, this journey has also instilled a deep sense of humility in me. I’ve learned that excellence in any field requires dedication and hard work. My goal now is to become an outstanding model, and with the determination and resilience I’ve cultivated through my athletic achievements, I’m confident that I can achieve this.

With my talent, drive, and determination, I’d like to become one of the most sought-after models in the industry. I look forward to continuing to work hard, and seeing where my career takes me.
